How to live a healthy lifestyle

You often hear many people talk about how to live a healthy lifestyle, but what this real means? Is that in general a healthy person who does not smoke, drink alcohol, he/she is at an average weight, exercises and eats healthy food.
The trick to live a healthy lifestyle is to make some small changes to the way you live by taking more steps, adding fruit to your cereal and have a lot or drinking a lot of water and these are just a few ways you can start living a healthy lifestyle.


Exercise

One of the biggest problems that the whole world is facing today is lack of activity. We all know that it is good for us but we avoid it because we are too lazy to work or do any thing. The truth is   movement is exercise, the more you move the healthier you will be. Even moderated activities like walking, chores and gardening can still make a difference in your health.

By just adding a little movements (exercise) to your body everyday can help:

  • Reduce the risk of heart disease, diabetes and stroke
  • Improve joint stability
  • Increase and improve range of movement
  • Help maintain flexibility as your age
  • Maintain bone mass
  • Prevent osteoporosis and fractures
  • Improves mood and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression
  • Enhance self-esteem 
  • Improve memory in elderly people and
  • Reduce stress level
